I think that some of the most terrible of terrible ideas are. They have that superficial gloss of "well this could be great", just like "Let's remake Wrath of Khan!".

A "re-edit" of Who's Next consisting just of extended versions of the cool keyboard parts -- so basically just the intros to Baba O'Riley and Won't Get Fooled Again and maybe the keyboard solo from Bargain.

a conceptual "depressed guy" standup comedy routine in which I don't actually tell jokes, I just go on for my whole set complaining and moaning about how bad things are and sighing (but in the sort of "rhythm" of standup comedy), and then at the very end I suddenly become highly energized and shout "THANKS VERY MUCH LADIES AND GENTLEMEN YOU'VE BEEN A FANTASTIC AUDIENCE!"

I was thinking about those old step-by-step "how to draw x" manuals, and I was thinking about how the illustrator actually had to redraw each prior step for each step (e.g. for step 3 the illustrator had to draw 1-3, for step 4 he had to draw 1-4), and I was thinking there should be an infinite recursion version of this called "How to Draw 'How to Draw X'"

My wife and her brother grew up in a super small town named Dollar Bay; bro-in-law and I have invented a fake rap festival to be held there named BALLER DAY and have been making up performers for the lineup based on dumb inside jokes (Dissmore, Billy Grippo the Eastside Specialist, Stucchi Arms, Point Mills).
