I've been really not listening to these guys a lot for the past few months. Pretty good so far.

I saw a magazine today that had a picture of them. The singer plays a big bass drum, or so I assume.

was listening to the radio today and a truly horrible rock song came on.
My wife asked "Who is this?" and I said, "I don't know probably Imagine Dragons or something."
the DJ later confirmed that I was right.

somewhat reminiscent of that famous Nick Cave quote -- "I'm forever near a stereo saying, 'What the fuck is this garbage?' And the answer is always the Red Hot Chili Peppers."

I don't know what it is that makes Anna Kendrick's version sound like Edward Sharpe, I think there is some "cell phone ad" production trick in place that I bet one could figure out if one were to play these songs on studio monitors but I would rather leave that mystery undiscovered
