I occasionally have to record Westwood doing voice work as part of my job and he is a super nice guy.

As 2009 has dawned Westwood seems to have become boring again.

Endless plugs of the dreary new 50 Cent album and all the "naked hustle"/"hot chick" chat is turning into depressing self-parody.

He does tend to have his ups and downs as a broadcaster.

But then he'll probably be forced off the airwaves soon anyway, because yet again it's all the fault of That Evil Music.

Someone high up really needs to tell the media to go fuck themselves but unfortunately it isn't going to be Mark Yellowbelly Thompson.

not really. no more than he has been. its not his fault there isnt that much exciting for him to play. although i do still get hyped listening to his show. cant remember half the songs after its over, but hey.

Agree about the 1xtra show but there's more than enough decent stuff around for him to play on the Saturday show if only he broke out/was allowed to break out of his comfort zone and stop playing just The Big Names. He needs to go South more, as the parlance goes.
