Hey this accidentally came on Spotify, and I am really enjoying it!
i heard one song that sounded like the exact halfway point between solo donald fagen and jamiroquai
If only I'd seen this thread before -- that is a ringing endorsement for me!

Ha, this also kind of reminds of Ryan Leslie.

isn't this thread a little short? i quite like his music. nothing really new but his retro soul is pretty addictive. his latest "man about town" which goes down smoothly also has the advantage that it is only 34 minutes long.

tuxedo record from last year was excellent

Saw Tuxedo in concert last night and it was kind of an EP of a concert. Barely an hour, but that was about as much as I think their musical tack could sustain, and I'm utterly cool with that. Punchy, quick, fun and get outta here.

And I still love "Watch the Dance."
oh this reminds me to listen to the new tuxedo record

The Jamiroquai comparison in the original string of posts is apt. Everything sounds very samey, and I am grateful for that.
