Clay, Tuesday, 4 June 2013 01:40 (ten years ago) link

aaaaand this is why home court matters

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 4 June 2013 01:41 (ten years ago) link

Kinda sad that Indy gonna blow this game due to unforced errors.

Heat w/ these offensive rbs gah.

IM ME, I DO ME, AND I CHILL (CompuPost), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:08 (ten years ago) link

Indy not able to get a single run going

IM ME, I DO ME, AND I CHILL (CompuPost), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:11 (ten years ago) link

man World War Z hella teal and orange

Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:11 (ten years ago) link

a lot of the errors have been forced

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:11 (ten years ago) link

They've definitely been worried into a few, but those + shit bouncing off hands in the 1st quarter is too much.

IM ME, I DO ME, AND I CHILL (CompuPost), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:16 (ten years ago) link

Ugh fuck you Wade

IM ME, I DO ME, AND I CHILL (CompuPost), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:22 (ten years ago) link

This has easily been the best-ref'd game of the series.

IM ME, I DO ME, AND I CHILL (CompuPost), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:22 (ten years ago) link

only one of those Hibbert foul calls was truly iffy.

Studied keyboard mash (tsrobodo), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:29 (ten years ago) link

this is an old man ass beating

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:29 (ten years ago) link

Might have to turn this off, too painful. Only mitigating factor now would be some goonsquadish Ts just for the lols.

IM ME, I DO ME, AND I CHILL (CompuPost), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:30 (ten years ago) link

wow battier straight got tossed from spo's rotation and its working

Though really it's defense, good wade and pacer mistakes going on here

joe smith avatar (agent hibachi), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:31 (ten years ago) link

mike miller is gonna end up in the hospital

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:32 (ten years ago) link

something about marv's "and here comes the Birdman, Chris Anderson" really cracked me up.

Clay, Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:33 (ten years ago) link

He still really grosses me out and I also really think he's gonna dislocate a shoulder when lebron picks him up

joe smith avatar (agent hibachi), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:33 (ten years ago) link

"Oh yes Commissioner, here comes the Batman, Bruce Wayne."
"What was that?"
"Shit shit shit."

Clay, Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:34 (ten years ago) link

X-post

lol marv talking birdma cracks me up too, I think he has passed beyond marv's dryest sarcasm and he's now just completely serious about birdman

joe smith avatar (agent hibachi), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:35 (ten years ago) link

so...I really think pacers just need a) some playoff reps and b) two decent bench guys they can play 12-15 min in a playoff game and not collapse (which would also take foul pressure off roy and paul in games against an aggressive offense like Miami tonight)

joe smith avatar (agent hibachi), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:39 (ten years ago) link

Yeah, some bench guards are basically Indy's only priority this summer, although honestly w/ Granger as 6th man next year they'd be mostly set.

IM ME, I DO ME, AND I CHILL (CompuPost), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:40 (ten years ago) link

Give Sam Young / DJ / Gerald Green a viking funeral.

IM ME, I DO ME, AND I CHILL (CompuPost), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:40 (ten years ago) link

/ let Ben HBro split time as the dude inside Boomer's costume.

IM ME, I DO ME, AND I CHILL (CompuPost), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:41 (ten years ago) link

Right in theory granger should be their Manu/2008 jams posey

joe smith avatar (agent hibachi), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:43 (ten years ago) link

Not sure he's gonna dig that role though

joe smith avatar (agent hibachi), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:43 (ten years ago) link

augustin should be left in a south beach dumpster after this game obv

joe smith avatar (agent hibachi), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:44 (ten years ago) link

Yah that's a big concern but supposedly he's amenable to it, plus it means he gets to ballstop to his heart's content on that 2nd team.

IM ME, I DO ME, AND I CHILL (CompuPost), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:46 (ten years ago) link

Like, Indy in much better position continuing to develop Lance. Granger is just a ballstopping volume scorer who plays good D and doesn't get shook, which is basically the best Indy can hope for from the bench.

IM ME, I DO ME, AND I CHILL (CompuPost), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:49 (ten years ago) link

Fuck Wade forever but he's had some great eurosteps this game.

IM ME, I DO ME, AND I CHILL (CompuPost), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:51 (ten years ago) link

anyone would love him as a bench guy, dude is tough and can score, I just can't come up with a non-Manu example of an all-star caliber player willingly moving to a 6th man role with the same team in the last 20 years or so

Aside from advanced age guys like Kidd but usually that came with a change of teams too

joe smith avatar (agent hibachi), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:52 (ten years ago) link

Wade was really good

joe smith avatar (agent hibachi), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:53 (ten years ago) link

indy almost reminds me of what portland c. roy-aldridge-oden era was supposed to become, with maybe a little less versatility, maybe a lower ceiling, and a bettercoach. young dudes growing together, needing a point guard. at least there's no oden albatross hanging around and stinking up the joint (unless that's granger's job).

Clay, Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:54 (ten years ago) link

heh somebody's knee is always fucked up in today's nba

joe smith avatar (agent hibachi), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:55 (ten years ago) link

fuck the pacers

i wanna be a gabbneb baby (Hungry4Ass), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 02:56 (ten years ago) link

Yeah, point guard kinda tough spot for Indy since they're committed to Hill, who is a great player but def not a natural point guard.

IM ME, I DO ME, AND I CHILL (CompuPost), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 03:00 (ten years ago) link

always forget that david west is 32.

Clay, Tuesday, 4 June 2013 03:01 (ten years ago) link

But idk all the important players are young and poised to continue improving next year + a re-signed uninjured West + Granger getting sealegs back, so a lot to look forward to.

Only surprise move that could make them better would be to find a pointguard -> move Hill to the 2nd team w/ Granger, but not sure they'll be able to find/sign anyone worthwhile.

IM ME, I DO ME, AND I CHILL (CompuPost), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 03:04 (ten years ago) link

how's the cap/money situation

Clay, Tuesday, 4 June 2013 03:07 (ten years ago) link

Okay Flo Rida's manager just got thrown out, lol

they are either militarists (ugh) or kangaroos (?) (DJP), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 03:16 (ten years ago) link

Agree about reffing in this game. Maybe the best reffed game of the playoffs.

why pee on the beat (Spottie_Ottie_Dope), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 03:19 (ten years ago) link

lol Pendergraph/Cole beef is deep y'all

Life size Jesus piece

why pee on the beat (Spottie_Ottie_Dope), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 03:29 (ten years ago) link

Cap space is fine, but most of that will go to West prolly (assuming they don't move Granger's big contract or find a way to bundle some of those bench contracts; no albatrosses tho). Plus big FAs don't want to play in Indy; only reason they got West to begin with was because he was coming off ACL surgery. Indy kinda cash-strapped / uncomfortably close to being in the Seattle convo that team won't get into luxury tax area. But, again, they basically have their pieces; just needed these reps + improvement + Granger back.

IM ME, I DO ME, AND I CHILL (CompuPost), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 03:30 (ten years ago) link

Huh, weird stat, saw on someone's twitter that Bron or Kobe has been in the finals last seven years w/o playing one another.

IM ME, I DO ME, AND I CHILL (CompuPost), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 03:32 (ten years ago) link

West looked pretty flat all series really.

why pee on the beat (Spottie_Ottie_Dope), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 03:32 (ten years ago) link

Fuck, who are the big FAs this off-season? So sad I have to join every1 but Moullet in the off-season thread :( :( :(

IM ME, I DO ME, AND I CHILL (CompuPost), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 03:33 (ten years ago) link

xp nah, he was pretty good, just that his big games were in Indy losses in Game 1 and 3. That said his fg% was below normal I guess, but didn't really no-show any games (except this last one I guess).

IM ME, I DO ME, AND I CHILL (CompuPost), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 03:36 (ten years ago) link

CP3, Dwight, Beno Udrih xp

why pee on the beat (Spottie_Ottie_Dope), Tuesday, 4 June 2013 03:37 (ten years ago) link

He just looked flat on his shots to me, seemed to miss quite a few easy ones.
