you must watch a lot of NBA, considering lebron is the best passer and ballhandler at his size since magic and was one of the best jumpshooters in the league this year

same problem I had w/Shaq, esp in his early years. Using is freakish body to pound his way to the hoop, and either get an easy hoop or force the ref to make a call after he initiates contact. Boring to watch and doesn't seem altogether fair.

And watching pee-ons bounce off Shaqs shoulders as he pivoted his way to dunk after dunk was pretty awesome to behold, thinking back on it. More frustrating and annoying was hack a shaq and watching him brick free throws.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Roy Hibbert used a gay slur in one answer and a curse to refer to the media in another during his news conference after Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals, putting himself in line for being disciplined by the NBA.

Hibbert ended a response to a question about his defense on LeBron James with "no homo." Hibbert had drawn a key charge on James in Indiana's 91-77 victory against Miami on Saturday and lamented not providing enough help to teammate Paul George on James in Game 3.

Hibbert was later asked why he finished so low in voting for Defensive Player of the Year.

"Y'all m------------- don't watch us play throughout the year to tell you the truth," Hibbert said. "So that's fine. I'm going to be real with you, and I don't care if I get fined. We play and we're not on TV all of the time and reporters are the ones that are voting and it is what it is. And I don't make it, that's fine. I'm still going to do what I have to do."

I don't think I got to see the Pacers play on national TV all year. I sure did get to see the Clippers, Warriors, and Knicks on a weekly basis.

also, if we were in a bar and I was listening to strangers talk about basketball, after a while I would interrupt and dispute you, and you would say "Shut up, who are you, and what the hell are you talking about."

shaq was physically overpowering but also super skilled, perfect footwork amazing touch, thats what made him so devastating

bron is similar, its easy to miss how difficult a lot of his finishes are after he bowls his way to the rim because he makes them look so effortless

yeah he was so nimble and athletic, especially in his early years. it's just a weird thing to complain about. like when you're calling the most complete player in the history of the game "boring"

i kinda agree that brons game is often unbeautiful compared to many all timers, but if you think theres nothing to appreciate and enjoy there youre trippin

and his passing and fast break game is beautiful and fun

last night after the game shaq was all 'roy hibbert best big man in the game' and charles looking mad exasperated 'look hibbert is a good player but hes not THAT good'

chuck otm, miamis just go no one who can bother him at all, he looks like hes running drills out there, even when they bring the double team hes just calmly making the right play which is a credit to him, the pacers altogether look so much more comfortable on offense than the first game where it seemed like a miracle when they were scoring good after almost turning the ball over every play
