I chanced upon this from retro nu disco, rather than slo-mo house. So I'm not exactly sure whether the better recent comps like Ushuaia Ibiza 'The Beach Album' or Dmitri from Paris - Back in the House belong here rather than in the Aeroplane-like summer jams thread. I can say the artists I follow, like Moon Boots, Gigamesh, and Plastic Plates are all pretty vibrant this summer.

is it just me or is the world truly lacking good disco edits nowadays? i'm browsing the juno charts/bestsellers and many of them suck. am i looking in a wrong place? but juno used to give me some decent disco jams.

they're disco edits by definition, I guess. but not THE genre. they're disco edit in a way moodymann and theo is disco edit.

i kind of stopped following this scene because i never really felt like listening to a whole set of it and also because it's too hard to mix w regular paced 120-ish stuff
