This is cool, though most won't even be familiar with the original music (game only shipped 10,000 copies in the States). Not sure how many units they shipped to other countries, if at all (other than Japan).

Brave Wave is proud to announce the release of a new arrangement soundtrack for the legendary SEGA Saturn RPG, Panzer Dragoon Saga. Saori Kobayashi, the game's original co-composer, has selected 20 tracks from the original game and given them fresh, new arrangements that will allow longtime series fans to reminisce about the game's iconic music while simultaneously experiencing it in a brand new way.

Joining Kobayashi is Eri Ito, one of the original vocalists for the game. She lends her powerful and dramatic vocals to two songs. Five tracks are backed by the Washington D.C.-based video game music band, Triforce Quartet, with three songs featuring the backing of Boston-based flutist Maho Azuma.

The channel "8-bit music theory" is self-explanatory. Maybe I only find it interesting because I know very little about music theory. Try the video on Mega Man 2 at least.

saw this in the used bins today. may have to go back and buy it. a fucking yars' revenge storybook album. mix of rambling story and actual score with game samples. the song "yars' revenge" is blatantly ripped from "living in the plastic age." "fly yar warriors" is also something but i can't place it right this second. who the fuck made this?
