First Single "Womanizer" Is Slated To Hit Radio On September 22nd

Jive/Zomba recording artist Britney Spears announces her sixth studio album, Circus, set for release December 2nd. The first single from the album is titled "Womanizer" and was produced by the up-and-coming Atlanta production team The Outsyders. The album release date coincides with Spears' birthday.

(And it is the best thing I've heard in ages.) The production on it is just like candy, it's so textural and at the same time so spartan.

I heard Piece Of Me by accident in Woolworths and my ears just pricked up with the whole WHAT IS THAT!??!? It took me a while to realise it was Britney - I thought it was some bizarre Madonna out take. I'm beginning to realise that Toxic wasn't a fluke, and she might be more interesting an artist than I realised.

Like, it starts off badly then gets really worse with lot of vague meandering about "the state of pop", or something, skip all that. At about the point where people hear the album, it gets really good. I remember the day I spent trying to find the leak, good times, good times.

"Womanizer" is the single that's coming out next week. There was a leaked video a week or so ago of her dancing to it. The sound in the video was pretty bad, though, so I couldn't really make it what it's like.
