Dubs fans are awesome, and speak to the quality of fan/player longterm interaction and experience that gets diminished by ether-floating population of "nba fans".

haha honestly imho its the corporate presence in the lower bowl of most stadiums that kills the live experience

I went to a dubs game once when they sucked and it was still a p good vibe

true on corp presence (still remember getting shushed by some rich hag for having the temerity to CHEER during a game like this was the fucking opera), but i've been to stadiums where upper level isn't much better. Lot of non-fans just looking for something to do esp during a random cold night in the winter. oh hey my friend isn't using his tix whattaya say let's go check it out and then if we're bored we can go to that bar over by there ok cool sounds good. fuck you. also no girlfriends/boyfriends should be allowed if they're not fans, you can check your phone constantly somewhere else.

this is why hemisphere arena/alamodome-era spurs games were the most fun for me growing up, less corporate bullshit, more fat drunk ppl yelling
