i'm not as anti-charge as kevin but i do think a good and easy rule to curb charges would be that you can't draw a charge once a ball has been passed

oh i didn't understand the second part of that post but i get what you mean

yeah if they'd had 18 seconds instead of 10 they could have tried for a backup plan if the first option breaks down, which happens often enough. otoh they have kevin durant so the plan is probably "hey kd, just score asap."

if you're down 2 points and are getting the ball i don't think there's a huge difference between 18 and 10 seconds. either you tie the game or you don't and the other team gets the ball back and probably ices the game. end of game clock stuff is less important in the nba because of ball advancement.

you can get a really good shot off from an out of bounds play in 10 seconds (case in point)... some teams won't even get into their offense on a normal possession until there's like 12 seconds on the clock

can we talk about how terrible zach was on that last possession though
