curry still looked gassed in the 4th again but i guess he only played 43 min, and klay was doing a nice steph impression anyway

that one-leg shot was awesome, that and klay's "dribble up, find a nice spot, casual pull up 3" were incredible- i hope they are doing the nash-nowitzki thing and practicing crazy shots together

Curry has hit a couple of those one footers in these playoffs and he hit quite a few during the reg season, always going left off a screen.

sweet shot chart, at times the klay/steph backcourt reminds me of various reviled gunners from the late 90's/early 00s and my stat brain is screaming in agony at the long 2s but then they all go in and they look like geniuses

They have Landry as well who is a good mid-range shooter.

i wonder what the stats are like for big men who develop the long range 2 (webber, garnett, sabonis etc.)

morey turned jeremy lamb, kevin martin, two first round picks and a second round pick into james harden

not a bad job by masai to butt into the dwight howard trade and end up with probably the best current player in the trade for a first round pick, but i'd probably go with the guy who fleeced okc out of a 23 year old superstar

Bummed that there aren't more YouTube highlights for Joakim's dad, Yannick. Probably one of the few tennis players I ever saw live who really interacted with the crowd / went out of his way to entertain during serious matchplay. Toward the end of his career, when he'd be stuck playing doubles on the small courts, dude would do some serious goofing around.

Steph is like nobody but himself. His off the dribble shooting is stupidly good and almost unique.

AI had a stepback pullup that he would rely on but yeah it's nothing like the dribble pullup steph has

i wish we could watch games with the camera at halfcourt directly facing the basket - always kind of hard to see how much separation players get on screens since the TV view flattens everything

Ive been trying pull up off the dribble three's at open gym and it's really tough to get the form right every time. Seriously it's crazy how accurate he is on shots that arent classically accurate. That pick the ball from off the ground right into the shot the other day was O__0

yeah love that angle on things when they show it. I think they dont use it cos it clips the corner three area.

curry is like a bionic version of nash, basically

hmmm maybe w/r/t %'s, but his handle + on court presence is way different

well steph is a better scorer and looks for his shot more while nash is a better passer who purposefully passed up shots but their skills are very similar

Yeah Nash really probably is the closest comparison.

They even have the same weird scoop floater thing going on.

Both have the best fast break pull-up three's in the league, maybe Billups in his prime too.

yeah the one-legged stuff, lefty passes, running scoops, and general shooting deadliness is very nash

Only thing missing is the off-leg teardrop/layups.
