The narrative was he anchored one of the best defenses in the league and was the floor general of that unit, as well as being an excellent individual post and pick and roll defender.

Also re bad at closing games. They were all over the place this year with this. Jack has become the primary decision maker in crunch time which seemed to work but it's really weird to just see him go one on one and not even have Curry shooting through some screens or trying to come to the ball in any way, idk. Not enough movement. They actually won quite a fair share of close games this year, their point differential was pretty low. These meltdowns are something else entirely.

curry did get some shots off in those OTs though, they just didn't fall, seemed like he had good looks. not that mad because a curry jumper is like everybody else's layup. and letting manu hit that 3 at the end because both barnes and jack followed the cutter... smh

oh i only watched the end, seemed reasonable tho considering he had a bad game and sat out the previous one

yeah the call was to switch every screen and they both followed the guy, barnes was thinking that hey I never actually got screened and Jack thinking well he got pretty close so let's switch hence the confusion xp

i've actually really liked what i saw from jack, the good outweighs the bad, definitely adds some poise + vet exp to the warriors...

jack based on skills should be a solidly starting quality nba player, but his decision making has kept him on the bench most of his career
