i thought the thing with rose was that the whole reason he tore his acl last time was because he came back too fast from an injury

somebody linked to that dr post that was like, yeah the muscles around his knee just werent strong enough and therefore he ripped the tendon. so idk it seems prudent to sit this season out. i'm all for #benchrose

no they should mostly consider how to not shoot 39/29/68

getting destroyed on the boards is not a concern

they missed 47 shots, of course they got killed on the boards. but they lost because they missed 47 shots.

the Bulls missed 40 shots and outrebounded Miami by 14

but you can play that game with anything

the bulls also made 7 more free throws in 4 less attempts

maybe the heat should learn how to shoot free throws better

and rebound

The Heat aren't good at rebounding and it's not a positive dawg

i mean, the rebounding thing doesn't even hold water for this game

the advantage that rebounding gives you is more possessions, but the heat had more shots tonight because they forced 2x the amount of turnovers

they lost cuz they shot incredibly poorly

i never said it was a positive, i'm saying it's a red herring that people have been flogging for almost three years despite it never being proven to be correct

The Heat were number 1 in FG% and last in total rebounds.

the bulls are the better rebounding team

the heat missed many more shots than normal, so there were more available rebounds

this benefited the bulls

but the heat lost because they missed many more shots than normal, not because the bulls got more of the available rebounds

The Heat lost for a variety of reasons, one of which was rebounding!

sure, but if someone threw a molotov cocktail into your house right as your oven exploded and as you knocked a candle over you probably wouldn't be standing outside your flaming house going "man i wish i hadn't knocked that candle over"

i mean the bulls let the heat shoot a ton of wide open threes and the heat missed them

it's nice that they can rebound, but they're going to lose the series in no more than 6 games. because of shooting.
