Have been totally resigned since all star break to Rose not playing this year; feel like I'm the only person alive for whom these MIGHT PLAY stories actually feel fresh / make me hopeful.

xps was going to mention that it's been kinda hilarious seeing Haberstroh's twitter last week. Has basically been him reliving the pain and agony of his own spinal tap, and it's like he felt he'd never really get the opportunity to just spill again.

I think it even leaked out after that fact that oh yeah we released Rose last Tuesday

he didn't wanna look like a wussy non-warrior by just coming out and saying he's not playing this year no matter what, so he's gone thru the motions of "getting close...getting closer" and coming up with increasingly bizarre and gobbleygook reasons for not playing yet...so now he looks like a wuss and a lying weirdo.

Yeah pretty shocking that Rose hasn't come back when you consider that, all time, only like five players have ever played in the playoffs w/o any pre- or regular-season action; I think two of those are from this year, and one of those is TMac. Rose is a disgrace etc.

yeah it's def super weird...like even if you had decided the team sucked too much and you weren't gonna play, you're allowed to change your mind now that the team is actually doing some damage.

but even that is too simplistic for whatever is going on with rose.

You all understand that most of us would also be "medically cleared to play," and that this clearance means basically 0% w/r/t actually playing basketball well. Dude is not ready to perform; think dude would lace it up if he thought he'd contribute w/o reinjuring himself.

Just seems like teammates would be dropping mad anonymous hints to reporters if they actually thought Rose was doggin it right now, which tmk hasn't been happening.
