one dimensional players get marginalized in the playoffs... happens to matt bonner and tony allen every year.

as far as novak goes, he can't guard anyone and that becomes a problem when rotations tighten and teams don't put out any crappy players on the floor

i admit i did not pay the closest attention to the celtics towards the end of the season but did courtney lee kill a guy or something?

No, but he didn't make a shot or guard a dude in the first couple of playoff games.

tony allen seems to get a fair amount of minutes and he's not that bad at offense, hustles a lot and gets the cherry pick

"hustles a lot and gets the cherry pick" separates Allen from Lee.

tony allen and courtney lee are not really comparable players outside of wearing headbands

i guess lee had a really bad game 1, he played 4 mins and 11 mins in games 2 and 3. it's too bad, in theory he'd be good in this series.

He ended the season pretty poorly and seemed to have neither confidence nor desire. Would be real nice to throw on J.R. if he was straight.

yeah tony's actually been getting more burn this season but historically his minutes have been cut in the playoffs when most good players see them go up

wasn't courtney lee just awful in the regular season too? it doesn't surprise me that he doesn't play

i mean i guess terry is marginally better if even at this point so who knows

Lee was horrible then decent then actually good for a hot minute then horrible.

didnt seem like there was anything suspendable

i just meant that the celtics had the locker room upper hand since the knicks taunted them but now maybe they relinquished it because of JORDAN CRAWFORD

as much as i love KG i sort of can't wait for him to retire and join tnt

i really can't see KG doing TV. he actually said he wouldn't when someone asked him earlier this year

he's always gone back and forth with the TNT guys... i think he's a logical fit for tv

I want KG to replace Tommy when he decides to call it a day.

i'll be semi-surprised if he does, i mean i get that it's a big lure for guys but he's basically said that once he's retired you'll never hear from him again
