Wings was my number 1, just an epic tale married to a driving rhythm. Was it the last of his song-stories?

surprised by several of these. my favorite fall tracks are not those of others.

While collating the results, I would (obviously) sort on the votes, descending, and The Classical was away in front by about half-way through.

Then other tracks started catching up, almost inpereptively, until the very last ballot, at which point "Totally Wired" sneaked in by one point, and I was like "Whoa?"

Yes, it's nobody's favorite (apart from Brix), but it did get the most individual votes.

So, hey.

Mark G, Wednesday, 1 May 2013 12:42 (eleven years ago) link

Interesting that it was the only track with a clear (though still fairly slender) majority of folks voting for it.

Only real surprise in top 10 for me: had no idea "New Puritan" was so popular!

Thanks for your work, Mark!

Half of me wants to kiss whoever voted for their version of 'I'm a Mummy', half of me wants to smdh and tell them to listen to the Bob McFadden version instead.

emil.y, Wednesday, 1 May 2013 13:20 (eleven years ago) link

Their version of 'There's a Ghost In My House' does rule, though.

xpost it was me, and I alredy knew/had the Bob & "Dor" version.

Mark G, Wednesday, 1 May 2013 13:22 (eleven years ago) link

Didn't mean to imply that you didn't know it, just that the Bob version is inimitable and should be listened to regularly.
