Kev, was that "fine him" link supposed to be that moment where Tony Allen grabbed the ref?

Z S up HOOS down (Spottie_Ottie_Dope), Tuesday, 23 April 2013 06:21 (eleven years ago) link

I almost hate cp3 as much as D Fish at this point. reallllllly cant stand to watch him or his team.

Z S up HOOS down (Spottie_Ottie_Dope), Tuesday, 23 April 2013 06:55 (eleven years ago) link

lol that matt went back to november to pull up a sarge post, typical

sorry went to her but it was a griffin flop, dunno why it didn't show up

brony james (k3vin k.), Tuesday, 23 April 2013 11:41 (eleven years ago) link

crazy how del negro is still going 10-deep for the playoffs.

brony james (k3vin k.), Tuesday, 23 April 2013 11:44 (eleven years ago) link

would really like to see this Clips team with a better coach -- great pieces, so-so cohesion

huun huurt 2 (Hurting 2), Tuesday, 23 April 2013 13:46 (eleven years ago) link

their offense needs to be better than 'give it to chris paul'

乒乓, Tuesday, 23 April 2013 13:52 (eleven years ago) link

Was wondering if people were still down on Del Negro. Got some luv for the former wolfpack alum.

Heez, Tuesday, 23 April 2013 14:38 (eleven years ago) link

popovich talked a lot about how much he likes paul and griffin after the all-star game...

but yeah right now it just feels like their strategy is having a guy who can create shots in the paint, a guy who can create jumpers/threes, and a guy who can create shots anywhere and just get one of them the ball. And they actually do have a potentially very good passing team and they're a reasonably smart team, so I feel like someone else could do so much more with them.

huun huurt 2 (Hurting 2), Tuesday, 23 April 2013 14:40 (eleven years ago) link

Swear announcers almost have a slapstick routine built around "It's almost like the Clippers have two coaches: Chris Paul and Chauncey Billups." Seems like CP3 + a great coach would be deadly.

Also, coming off Drew sitting Horford / Hollins sitting ZBo for the last four minutes last night ... would love to know if there's some obscure stat about sitting players in foul trouble vs. letting them play through. Have always had a feeling that coaches over-coach those situations and end up sitting their better players too much.

yeah, I heard that line once or twice.

At one point watching last night I had the thought "this is the greatest team in the history of pickup basketball."

huun huurt 2 (Hurting 2), Tuesday, 23 April 2013 15:01 (eleven years ago) link

nah that's houston

brony james (k3vin k.), Tuesday, 23 April 2013 15:54 (eleven years ago) link

feel bad for mike dunlap :(

乒乓, Wednesday, 24 April 2013 00:20 (eleven years ago) link

I would feel bad for Dunlap if management had made him give all those minutes to Mullens (which they may have)

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 24 April 2013 00:25 (eleven years ago) link

whoa Jr from deep

joe smith avatar (agent hibachi), Wednesday, 24 April 2013 00:40 (eleven years ago) link

JR is just nuts this year where did he come from

huun huurt 2 (Hurting 2), Wednesday, 24 April 2013 00:56 (eleven years ago) link

i've always believed

乒乓, Wednesday, 24 April 2013 00:56 (eleven years ago) link

JR's offense this season isn't much different from his better seasons in Denver, it's the defense that's better. Also a little less insane.

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 24 April 2013 00:58 (eleven years ago) link

JR's defense came and went tbh. he just got more minutes this year

brony james (k3vin k.), Wednesday, 24 April 2013 01:01 (eleven years ago) link

hey there it is "you just cannot leave..."

JR's career percentages: 43-37-74
6th man season: 42-36-76

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 24 April 2013 01:09 (eleven years ago) link

really hoping the Knicks give him the full midlevel

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 24 April 2013 01:10 (eleven years ago) link

surprised jr is that good from three for his career considering how many awful shots he takes

yeah that's interesting, his increased scoring and rebound numbers also seem to be entirely accounted for by increased minutes. I think part of the reason I felt like he was having a career season is he wasn't as good the last couple years.

huun huurt 2 (Hurting 2), Wednesday, 24 April 2013 01:17 (eleven years ago) link

did they just refer to "championship possibilities" re: the knicks?

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 24 April 2013 01:24 (eleven years ago) link

birdman is just dominating this game

brony james (k3vin k.), Wednesday, 24 April 2013 01:35 (eleven years ago) link

lol simmons is gonna regret not jumping off the rubio bandwagon when he had the chance

brony james (k3vin k.), Wednesday, 24 April 2013 02:01 (eleven years ago) link

JR flop

brony james (k3vin k.), Wednesday, 24 April 2013 02:03 (eleven years ago) link

lol @ simmons writing 1000 words defending bosh

brony james (k3vin k.), Wednesday, 24 April 2013 02:17 (eleven years ago) link

having not payed a lot of attention to the celtics during the regular season, their offense seems kind of lost without Allen

huun huurt 2 (Hurting 2), Wednesday, 24 April 2013 02:22 (eleven years ago) link

catching up on last night's game, i think blake has the ugliest post game of all the big men in the post season

乒乓, Wednesday, 24 April 2013 02:27 (eleven years ago) link

yep

Z S up HOOS down (Spottie_Ottie_Dope), Wednesday, 24 April 2013 02:33 (eleven years ago) link

well joel anthony played a couple minutes tonight

brony james (k3vin k.), Wednesday, 24 April 2013 02:34 (eleven years ago) link

When weighed against expectations, though...

Z S up HOOS down (Spottie_Ottie_Dope), Wednesday, 24 April 2013 02:39 (eleven years ago) link

weve talked about it on ilh before I think, its really crazy how his post game hasnt grown at all!

Z S up HOOS down (Spottie_Ottie_Dope), Wednesday, 24 April 2013 02:40 (eleven years ago) link

well it's always been really effective. he's a better all-around player now too

brony james (k3vin k.), Wednesday, 24 April 2013 02:43 (eleven years ago) link

mike conley is actually kinda nice! also lol @ jamal crawford making everybody look foolish, does he have a nickname yet

乒乓, Wednesday, 24 April 2013 02:43 (eleven years ago) link

is he xp? I thought he took a step back this year, no?

Z S up HOOS down (Spottie_Ottie_Dope), Wednesday, 24 April 2013 02:46 (eleven years ago) link

jamal and cp3 are two of the top five ball handlers in the league
