I am a trailblazer fan from the year the franchise came into existance and I am here to say that Luke Babbit deserved that vote for sixth man of the year as much as Shaq deserves an award as Sportscaster of the Year.

Good to know that people are up on Jenkins-- Hawks aren't the youngest team, and I wasn't sure if he was someone they're looking to make a big 1st -> 2nd year jump.

I would not want my team to spend max money on Josh Smith. BTW does Horford always do that scream when he dunks? Never really noticed it until last night (and btw think they're mic'ing up the court really well this year ... wonder if it's just TNT or broadcast-wide).

to me what makes it funny is the lakers seemed like they shouldve been a compelling storyline but really they were just super dull, and everyone kept on like they were interesting anyway

yeah totally agree lagoon. seriously the only intriguing sub-plot of the Lakers season was Kobe in Nash mode for like 7 games or whatever. Made everyone think hmm "what if" for a minute.

crazy how del negro is still going 10-deep for the playoffs.

would really like to see this Clips team with a better coach -- great pieces, so-so cohesion

their offense needs to be better than 'give it to chris paul'

Was wondering if people were still down on Del Negro. Got some luv for the former wolfpack alum.

popovich talked a lot about how much he likes paul and griffin after the all-star game...

but yeah right now it just feels like their strategy is having a guy who can create shots in the paint, a guy who can create jumpers/threes, and a guy who can create shots anywhere and just get one of them the ball. And they actually do have a potentially very good passing team and they're a reasonably smart team, so I feel like someone else could do so much more with them.

Swear announcers almost have a slapstick routine built around "It's almost like the Clippers have two coaches: Chris Paul and Chauncey Billups." Seems like CP3 + a great coach would be deadly.

Also, coming off Drew sitting Horford / Hollins sitting ZBo for the last four minutes last night ... would love to know if there's some obscure stat about sitting players in foul trouble vs. letting them play through. Have always had a feeling that coaches over-coach those situations and end up sitting their better players too much.
