I want more April showers! We had some impressive straight-line winds ahead of the front that blew through here last night... popped my balcony door open and then slammed it shut. Guess it wasn't latched.

I haven't owned a hat or scarf all winter, and I finally just got gloves a couple weeks ago.

You're nuts! I wear a scarf and various hats Oct-May and then I switch to my lite scarf.

Was totally wrong abt weather today btw. It's cold.

It is raining and blustery here this morning, so I walked to work! So fantastic.

There are plants growing visibly from one day to the next outside the windows now. It was warm enough to not wear a scarf on Monday, totally gorgeous. One week til May!!

silflay! I spent a fair amount of time at work this afternoon doing GIS searches for rabbits in tiny tents.

!! aren't they wonderful?!?
those are just regular sized blades of grass btw -- i could probably hold two rabbits in the not-very-large palm of my hand

also it's getting niiiiiiiiiiiiice here, and not just one day either -- like a couple days in a row. i'm feelin it.

i don't hear any hrududu but this partic warren is about 2 feet from a street with heavy foot traffic (and occasional car traffic)

just a small boomp to say that spring is finally here -- it goes between being kinda hot and kinda cool, lots of rain, lots of moodiness, some thunder/lightning, lots of very beautiful hours followed by a huge tantrum. good times! springtimes.

this is what i was excited about in march.

also? last day of may, that officially concludes our season itt.

Stupid wintery mix today. 14 out of 17 days in March have been below average temp and it is forecasted that the next 14 days will be below average as well. 10" of snow this March, a third of what we've received all winter. Worst fucking March ever.

This march isn't looking any better. Hard to get excited since the weather outlook is dismal and I'm already broken from winter. I think may is going to be the new march.

It's gonna suck for a while and then eventually it'll be like FORTY. Anything will be an improvement over the last 2 months.

Once it gets to 35 I'm going to dance through the streets.

i remember two marches ago it was like 85 degrees a lot of times. global cooling more like!

I have the SPRING FEELING today! I don't know what's up with me but I'm feeling a little manic, enjoying it though

i was explaining this to my dad this morning -- it's not that i expect march to be so great. it's not going to be great. it's probably gonna totally suck. the big difference is that march marks the dawn of the time when i am permitted to begin to regain hope for the future not sucking as badly as the present.

in november, that is deferred for like 4-5 months; now, it's going to be maybe 4-5 weeks

however shitty the forecast is for the next few weeks, this represents an improvement imo and i am going to continue to rejoice and gather energy for the oncoming springtime bloom.

I'm going to lose my shit when it's actually spring. Run everywhere, drink beer in the streets, dive into the lake even though I can't swim.

Next weekend the local ice cream stand opens AND the time changes. Yesss.

I can't wait for the UPS drivers to break out the shorts. That's when I know winter has ended.

Today was pretty pleasant-- > 40, no precipitation, drove around with the window down singing at full window-up volume. Time changes this weekend. Could be (has been!) much worse.

well, last year it snowed in may, so. blooming buzzing weather confusion anticipated.

all this week the weather was so much better. this weekend is my birthday. next week brings the first paycheck from my new job. i get paid on WEDNESDAYS. pretty into march right now, pretty into life. can not wait to drink beer outside and read on my porch.
