I shun the show for it is not a WB creation. However, I have just been informed that Gilmore Girl's Dave Rygalsky is Seth. What of Lane's budding relationship? Or are they just going to cut her out of the show altogether? They may as well, seeing as little use they make of her wonderful character. And when does Jess's new show start? Venice Beach, here we come? Or have they thought better of themselves and nipped that idea in the bud?

Barton's gait distinctly evokes Gwyneth Paltrow's, but she also looks like a young Paulina Porizkova, and suspiciously like a runway alumna, though she started as a child stage actress. She's good. Her efforts to maintain her top-shelf high-school popularity even as she falls in with Ryan—greeting the old crowd, taking their cell calls, telling them all how much she loves them—seem right on. Her conversion from best girl to gun moll isn't happening overnight, and she clearly doesn't want to forfeit the prerogatives of insincerity too soon. Barton expresses this bet-hedging elegantly, without hamming it up.

See, a really good actress.

Undeclared was ace. Last night the waif girl wanted to sleep with runaway hobo wife beater t-shirt guy. He even had on Jeff Buckley. He gave her scary eyes and she cried and left, all the while Billy Zabka sat in his pick up truck with the other guys from Kobra Kai dojo and watched her leave and wife beater t-shirt chased her. Billy Zabka got pissed and kicked some wife beater ass and then they burnt down a giant mansion. wierdo skateboarders mom wants to fuck the neighbor, its costing her one hundred thousand dollars for his financial planner penis. eventually peter gallaghers eyebrows get worked into the mix in an eyebrow and hair pie menage a trois.

wife beater t-shirt spent the night in prison, a tatooed gent wanted to fuck him and skateboard kids mom when they came to visit. wife beater stepped up to tattoo and they fought. Hesitant perky tit skateboard kids mom decided to take wife beater home, for the 18th time. when they got home wife beaters REAL mother was there, looking like a 70's porno star. Peter Gallaghers eyebrows were also there. They decided to have porno mom stay with them for the night, clean her up and she goes to Vegas Night with the whole family. Tells wife beater t-shirt that she is not drinking anymore. When they get to Vegas night, waif girls SLUTTY camel toe mother is trying to find some cock. High comedy as porno mom gets drunk on 7/7 and falls down. Show ends with Turin Brakes playing, porno mom leaving, wife beater t-shirt making more scary eyes and a wave goodbye. Perky tits decided he can stay for good. Only took half the season already for this to be decided.

This is TV, of course it has to be prolooooonged. For maximum dramatic effect, and to get full use of that particular facial expression the main character always uses. This show really does beat you over the head with the storyline.

first saw mischa barton in the great sleeper indie gem lawn dogs. quiet little film about the horrors of suburbia with a smattering of magical realism.

saw it at the london int'l film fest in like, '96; it got a very limited release in the US. please, please do not be put off by the picture on the video rental box, kathleen quinlan's barely in it.

the film was also the first time i gave any notice to sam rockwell, and was of course, quite smitten.
