yeah i could've phrased that better, didn't mean to suggest any 'fuckability rankings', merely noting for ppl who thought any photo of that type on ilx would clearly be fake that there were several ppl (women and men) who posted photos of that sort at the time so it was more plausible than you might think. i guess ppl still do those wdyll threads and there are those rolling city threads where ppl shoot the shit but i don't think there's anything on the level of old ilx (unless 77 board, one reason i've probably not minded not being allowed there). i mean ppl did road trips. in that context something like luna can happen and it doesn't mean the ppl who were conned were obv fools or notre dame grads, when i think about the qualities i have that those ppl didn't it's not like i think it reflects well on me. one thing i wonder is do ppl think the luna revelation (not just that she was fake - alot of ppl knew or suspected that - but the extent of her deception and just how much she had exploited some ilxors' trust) changed the culture of ilx?

OK on the assumption I'm one of the women Rox is implying, I have to say i NEVER thought that porno pic of "luna" was of her, cos it was just too obvious and well (ugh) shot and whatrver. glad it wasn't just me, sunny. i mean i was around when it all went down, but there are definitely missing pieces in my understanding!

the last time i discussed certain aspects of this situation with people(non-ilxors) who also knew parts of it, they corrected me on a major assumption that i'd been working on, and which i might have passed on to roxymuzak in a private email (i can't remember.) i'm sure roxy knows many other parts of this whole sorry saga that i don't, but i'm not sure any of us will ever really know 'the full story', which is one of the reasons why i'm being circumspect, here. (another reaons is that i wld hate for the horribleness of the Luna saga to become the dominant narrative about (person X))

Hi, I just wanted to let you all know that I have read this entire thread and now am aware of the entire Luna saga. I stumbled onto this thread about a month ago and feel it was for the best that I read it. Also, the last time I contributed anything here was when I posted an ILX dream in 2010, so any assumptions about my posting any later than that are incorrect. I don't wish to come back here on a regular basis, but felt it necessary to at least inform everyone that I now know the full story and hope to God the person I suspect was bilked of all those thousands of dollars isn't the one I'm thinking of. Thank you and I am surprised a few of you have been so kind to me. My life has become harder than I can ever put into words, so I need any little kindness possible.

Honestly, I read this thread during what turned out to be the final hospitalization my mom was ever going to experience (I stayed with her, and yes, that means I no longer have any living parents), but I made the mistake of participating on this forum when I had just lost my dad and it made me loony trying to proceed as if things were normal, so I'll need some time and space to recover before even thinking of participating anywhere in these environs anymore. BTW, I am in constant contact with a few friends I made through the board such as Sam and Anthony Easton.
