I remember seeing the Hall and Oats LP in the bins years ago, and I kind of like the cover. You can't tell from the washed out look of the image above, but to me it kind of had a glam, Interview Magazine style look to it. And the original issue's sleeve had a reflective silver paper. How's the music?
I can't stand David Lee Roth, but like that cover. He's intentionally rediculous, anyway.
On the *back* of the Black Sabbath cover you can see Bill Ward's (checkered) underwear through his tights! It must have been airbrushed out on the front. And I think Ozzy's get-up is audacious and fetching.
That Manowar; oh my gosh. This is one record I really can't imagine bringing up to the counter to buy with a straight face. Who could?
I like that "Mechancal Animals" cover, but like even more the inside pic of La Manson done up exactly like Eno in the gatefold of "For Your Pleasure".
