i think i've seen montages of characters posing in front of a mirror in different changes of underwear tho? or maybe scenes where the character is putting on cologne or perfume as a final touch-up and after a moment's consideration sprays a shot down their underwear. either way it's an indication that they've decided tonight's the big night when sexing is finally gonna happen b/c they're making themselves presentation-ready for when the clothes come off.
