I could watch a series that was just escalating Linda/Louise scream-fights, I swear.

Just started watching this on Netflix, the week after I just saw my first few eps of "Happy Endings," and I see a couple of parallels, both in an obvious affection for the characters as well as an innocent willingness to just keep the jokes coming. The former point is important, I think, because so many sitcoms are set up mostly as a series of put-downs and insults.

Watching Dan Mintz talk is weird, because Tina is basically just Dan Mintz talking like he talks and it creates a strange dysphoria.

Crossover was as disconcerting as it was satisfying. Hopefully they'll be able to shoehorn the kids into a later episode.

Schaal is in a future ep as a different character, so that miht have something to do with the decision to have the kids not talk.

The sad thing is that Tina was actually really good and competent at news reporting and yet the universe still conspired against her to make her fail.

The whole Bob/Little Bob scene in the bathroom was the perfect encapsulation of this show's talent for escalating insanity, though. And Teddy's story about applesauce.

I found myself compulsively talking to my kids using the voice of Linda the other day.

Looking for some 3 dimensional representative of Gene to complete the trio, but honestly the best ones are just photos of Eugene Mirman.
