feel like these kinds of "what's the hold up?" lulls are pretty common when rappers are in this transitional period where people think they're gonna be a star but they're still one hit away. if MMG can make Wale happen they'll have no prob with him, if the legal shit doesn't stop him.

bible on the dash is my favourite rap track of 2013. so amazing. really hope the album, if it ever comes out, is as good as gunplay deserves it to be.

you'd think MMG's top priority would be having a Gunplay single on the next comp that launches him as a radio presence like Meek and Wale had on the first Self Made, but it doesn't look like that's happening. they've put more effort into working Stalley at radio. Stalley.

i wouldn't be surprised if dude was unstable enough behind the scenes that they can manage to have him around for a few verses on these compilations but don't really feel like dumping money into him

i mean he's put out, like, one mixtape longer than 10 songs in his entire career

the single they pushed with ross whose name i've already forgotten was not very good at all

i don't think putting out several 10 song mixtapes instead of a couple longer ones is some indication that he's barely keeping it together to get into a studio

"Bible On The Dash" was a great record, got a few radio spins, but obviously not something that would kick the door wide open

the fact that his name is "Gunplay" is probably an obstacle
