a friend linked me to this tonight, i was just like what the fuck.

weird...one of the first things i thought of when the saville story broke was the dudes in bands from this (or closely related) scenes who used to sleep with my school friends when i was 16/17. at the time i didn't think much of it (some jealously i guess) but as i've got older i realised how creepy it was that these dudes in their mid-to-late 20s were sleeping with girls still in school. i always been unsure whether it was actually a case of being predatory or just being unable to grow up and relate to girls their own age. i think for many it was probably the latter but this lostprophets dude sounds like a real dirtbag.

Ultimately, the Lostprophets produced The Betrayed by themselves at the Los Angeles home of the band's bassist, Stuart Richardson, between 2008 and 2009.
