yeah...i'm picking this up a little bit, but it's still pretty complicated. i kind of assumed that there would be an easy mode i could switch to simplify the controls, but it doesn't seem like there is. thanks for your help, though!

Finally got into this. Friend was selling his PS4 in order to buy a PS5 so I snapped it up. FIFA 21 has really helped me get through lockdown, mainly through taking my mind off other stuff. I was not a complete newbie having played games on friends' consoles, but yes, the multitude of buttons took some getting used to! But I'm getting there, especially better control of the keeper.
One thing though - I'm unconvinced the training games really help develop in-game play. The one thing I am still terrible at is tackling, simply coz in a match situation I can never get near enough to the opposing players to do it.
