oh yeah, it's a pretty object, a bit like a Starck citrus squeezer - looks great, is piss poor in operation.

I have a Samsung D500, which is a great handbag phone - easy to grab from amongst the old bus tickets, lip glosses and other assorted junk.
otm. in fact, i got mine because i saw madchen's and liked it so much.

I haven't tried a Sony Ericsson though. My first phone was an Ericsson, but that was pre-Sony.

But Nokia seem to have dropped the ball in terms of spec development.

a warez'd Doris Browser -- my phone is *just* too RAM-poor for Opera. Doris is ok though.

Sterling, I am retrying installing Opera Mini now and it looks like it works if I do it over GPRS rather than pushing over Bluetooth. YAY!

worked really well for the past 3 years which is part of the reason why i never bothered to upgrade. it was just so easy to do everything with one hand (which you can't really do so easily with any clamshell ones). i can't quite wrap my thumb far enough i think to text one handed on the RAZR (in case i want to have a wank whilst i text)

-Works w/ Cingular-Has a camera-Bluetooth (works grebt with iSync)
Either that or the Motorola V551, which seems sturdier.
I'm not a real fan of flip-phones, but these cheapo free-with-the-plan Nokias keep on sucking.

You can get replacement SIM cards from your carrier. They'll charge you a fee, I think around $20.
