A lot of walking from the F to Nicole's house (about 13 blocks). Walking from sixth avenue to union square because the L wasn't running to eighth avenue (admittedly not a very long walk.) slipping on ice outside AMERICAN APPARELL on the way to get keys made & get taco.

yeah... on friday it was thunderstorms at in the upper 60s. on saturday it was high in the low 30s, sunday high in the 20s with some light snow flurries... or something...

granted, lows only like 14 or something, but to have t-shirt weather a couple days before. sheesh.

you don't what to expect.

everyone here is freaking out (as I am, a little bit) because the pipes here are not designed for sustained temps below freezing, nor are the roads... I'm considering just turning my water off on Sunday evening, draining the pipes, and then turning it back on in 48-72 hours.

Austin TX, hahaha... I can only remember one time where temps dropped into the teens, never seen it go below 10F here ever
