I raise my glass in a toast ***clink*** To good health and much happiness, may you find yourself amongst friends where ever you may travel! Thank You, for being You!

Happy Birthday CJ

I am going to go listen to the story of "McCavity the Cat" and "Spokeshave" in your honor.

I wish you wouldn't listen to those, еdë. Elsewhere on the innernet, someone heard my voice and immediately started telling everyone I sounded very West Country, a bit like Worzel Gummidge (he's a scarecrow off the telly) so now I am so incredibly self-conscious about the way I sound that I'm never going to speak again (some may say that this is a Good Thing).

Good lord! The happiest birthday to you, madame, how's your head?

Happy Birthday, lady. I hope you and your family are well today. All my best, beautiful.

Oh my, oh my!

This almost slipped by!

Happy birthday, my dear,

have a wonderful year.

CJ

I would very much like you to have a happy birthday.

If you do not have a happy birthday I'm not sure I could cope, I would foam at the mouth, shout inanities and profanities. I would scare local animals and children, I would be taken down by a police marksman. It would "get ugly"

So have a happy birthday

(you fabulous thing, you)

Love and hugs

Matt

a mindless bit of trivia for the occassion ...

Thank you everybody! I'm having a really lovely day involving birthday cake and glasses of wine, and I shall be going to see the Harry Potter movie this evening, geek that I am.

Thanks for your good wishes - you are all so kind :)

I love cake, especially a nice big Victoria Sponge from M&S. Happy Birthday indeed!

Dude Steel's inevitable demise will be one year closer on the 30th.

Mrs. Steel, keep wearing that gas mask to bed and keep those insurance premiums paid. Perseverence will pay in the long run.

I heard from our beloved Rex today. He is still alive and is quite apologetic about it.

Hey, CJ?

Re those glasses of wine: You aren't going to see Harry Potter while "potted" are you?

(That is SO lame.)

It's OK. CJ is a good sport and given the time difference between us, she'll be "pissed as a fart" by the time she reads this.

Madame, je vous souhaite le meilleurs des anniversaires.

Even le meilleur

Am I really another year older and wiser? The old tempus certainly does fugit.

Thank you for reviving my birthday thread, Michael! I'm having a lovely day, which has started wonderfully with cake and coffee but which will be slightly spoiled by having to do some work at some point.

I'm being taken out for dinner tonight (at a place owned by Marco Pierre White, no less) so hurrah for me and no cooking this evening! Always a treat, that.

Thanks again for the birthday wishes, gang. Means a lot. :)

(Which MPW gaff?) I reiterate my fondest wishes, obv. Send us your work to do. I can't gurantee I'll do it, and I can't guarantee I'll have the faintest idea what it entails, but it won't be your fault, do you see?

It's one of his "country pubs", which he bought earlier this year.

(The venison in bitter chocolate sauce sounds horrible, but is actually very nice)

I dunno. Anybody with the initials M()W should generally be avoided. I hope it's good, though. Venison in bitter chocolate sounds vaguely like a mole sauce, which sounds quite delicious.

Happy Birthday CJ! Hope it has been a great one!

CJ Ramone died and the world didn't really notice, did they? He wasn't a real Ramone, anyway.
