Classic, if just because he pisses so many of his so-called peers off, mainly by actually being more talented than them. Especially search "Men In Black" and "Will2K"

Also search DJ Jazzy Jeff's turntable skills, which are up in the ether with the immortals.

I don't care what anybody says, "Gettin' Jiggy Wit' It" was one of the singles of the summer a few years back.

I do not enjoy the production on his post-comeback material. I wish he would just give in and do some tracks with the Neptunes like everybody else.

"Summertime" is beyond classic.

i will shrug off my reactionary opinions about his later stuff. i'm sure there's some good there... yes, summertime was pretty good.

he's the dj... was not so grate. unfortunately i'd say that the best album was Rock the House.

Just went to an excellent wedding in Westchester where "Miami," "MIB" and of course the all-conquering "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" were all played...twice! Utterly classic and pure virtuoso pop. I mean, just consider Men In Black:

Movie exec (cluelessly): "Mr Smith, we'd love to have you do a little tie-in number since you're also known as a rap singer"

Fresh Prince: "How's This? cuz we're the first, last and only line of defense against the worst scumoftheuniverse!"

Movie exec: "Can you work in the noisy cricket?"

That 'Nod Your Head' song is pretty terrible. Sounds like them Limp Bizkit bastards.

Everyone knows I'm normally giving mad props to Will Smith. HOWEVER I just heard this aforementioned Men in Black II song and it makes me want to kill people. What the hell?

Did not expect the dark/realistic/dramatic reboot:

Here's the first full length trailer for Bel-Air. The one hour drama reimagining of The Fresh Prince Of Bel-air from genius creator/director @cooperfilms. Premieres Super Bowl Sunday on @peacockTV #BelAir pic.twitter.com/guvJyaqCPg

Yeah, feels like a 30 Rock sketch.

This is one of the stupidest trends in Hollywood of the past five years. Let's reboot Archie Comics/Nancy Drew/Fresh Prince/etc...but make it melodramatically serious and gritty!

In the pilot, Jazz comes by looking for Hillary, and as usual, is thrown out by Uncle Phil, landing on his spine, permanently paralyzing him.

Jazz has no insurance and Phil refuses to pay his hospital bills, knowing he can't afford to sue.

Will suddenly has to decide if being part of the 1% is worth his soul.
