one month passes...
Actually, I've seen U2 live. Bono comes on stage with his glasses, performs one or two songs at most with them on, and them loses them for the remainder of the set.

I thought he was like the long lost blues brother.
Never thought taking off sunglass could soften a mans face so much, what a great bad movie.

twenty years pass...

For some reason I imagine Bon sneaking into someone's home via an open window - was this a dream? All is aglow in sunny orange...
Bon is there, in my bedroom.

Bon is always watching.

:(

20 years too late, but re: OP's questions, Bono has glaucoma which is why he always wears sunglasses. I don't think he made that public until 2014.

Many performers wear outrageous sunglasses anyway to increase their glamour -its acceptable

Too bad about the glaucoma

Could be a band name of the future ?
Like Gorky's Zygotic Mincey

Yeah, I think tons of older performers wear sunglasses because not seeing their eyes (and bags and wrinkles) makes them look less old. Also, because they are old, many probably also have problems with lights. I saw the Afghan Whigs a few months ago, and iirc there was an announcement that if anyone used a flash they would stop the show.

"twenty years pass" LOL

I always figured he wore them due to some eye condition, but could never be chuffed to find out what.
