just getting into this guy this year, and basically, I like everything I've heard up through Black Secret Technology. His acid house stuff is really good, and always a little "off", which lots of little details that I wouldn't necessarily expect from straight ahead house. The breakbeat/dnb stuff is arguably even better, but I love the fact that since he was doing all this stuff right at the moments it was all happening, there's tons of odd hybrid versions of pretty much every big dance trend in the UK circa '88-'95.

And everything on BST, and even his remix of Oxbow Lakes which has basically nothing to do with the original afaict

His track on Trance Europe Express 4 was what got me into him. Really unique sounding at the time, still is, really.

I've seen Marcello Carlin use it on Twitter a few times in reference to non-establishment hit singles that the usual British music outlets had to begrudgingly cover.

Yeah, I sort-of nicked it off Marcello. It's a sort-of catchphrase to do with Dale Winton on "Pick of the Pops" or something like it. Sort-of.
