If you didn't know better, you'd probably assume that the night was part of the V&A's current surrealism exhibition, but no, it's merely dedicated to the art of being silly and dancing to ace pop songs. Tonight the New Royal Family will be playing live, a supergroup of sorts compromised of members of Gay Dad, the Boyfriends, Luxembourg, Salad and more haunters of Camden's finest toilet venues. And the doorboy will be dressed in a Russian General's uniform and the compere is called Kinky Matt - intrigued yet?

Like guppies? What were they trying to do? I had a friend on FB who did this in all 23 of her profile pics. I never asked and have since unfriended her. Then there was the whole gang sign thing. Girls posing and shooting random gang signs. At least in photos this is almost fresh.
