yeah basically i noticed how bad it was during the letterman perf i think and now i cant stop seeing it in all the videos. some of them try to hide it but the guy cant not do the guitar face

listen i love Maxwell but for a reasonable comparison you'd need a performance of "Pretty Wings" where he struts into the MILF stands at a daytime talk show like a rooster in the hen house, not the same kind of swag

his obvious enthusiasm for that song is so infectious

it's gotten to the point where when I listen to the studio version I mentally fill in the guitar licks

I think I've come to prefer live "Adorn" to studio "Adorn" which was already like my favorite song of the past five years or so.

"prefer" is a strong word but if i haven't been in the car to hear it on the radio for a few hours and i get the urge to hear it, i usually switch up and put on a live version of even that Diddy remix

heard radio v of "Do You" yesterday, kinda disappointed at chorus of "do you like love, do you like love"

ha, it hadn't occurred to me that "jamey, johnny, and jack know" referred to jameson, walker, and daniels

heard "How Many Drinks" on the radio today, could've a random DJ whim but i am curious if that's an indication of the next single -- it always leaped out to me as having the most obvious radio potential on the album, and "The Thrill" has always been implied as the 3rd single (mentioned on the CD sticker, already an official video out, etc.) but it seemed like Miguel just always really loved that song and "Do You," and the latter has been slow to take off. by the time "Adorn" finally drops out of the #1 spot "Do You" may have already dropped off the chart and they'll just move on to the next single.

Hoping the album's singles life extends to the warm-weather months. "Do You" and "How Many Drinks" would both be such nice summer singles
