The question remains, how can I tolerate/enjoy Benoit and Sergio and loathe Hot Creations. I'm feeling inconsistent.

Benoit & Sergio have a much better sense of songcraft than a lot of their contemporaries.

i think he got a big initial chunk of his fanbase recording under the maetrik moniker, seems like semi-generic if still technically impressive tech-house was definitely a gateway drug

The Forward Strategy Group is really good, all clanging, metallic textures against industrial dones - makes me think of Andy Stott's recent material but played at 45 instead of 33.
