that's our girl homoII :) love it!
So! E never sent me dress info which turned out to be a blessing in disguise, because it turns out I read the date wrong - card is valid a year, not a day - and it was a gift from a friend! I did Photoshop work for her, fancying up the headshots for the website of the company she works for, and they sent me this gift card! But eShakti didn't tell me any context - who it was from, message, whatever, so I thought it was eShakti! All it says is 'eShakti gift card' then the info, amount, expiry and 'how to use'! So I will order myself a dress, so that I can point to it and say 'thank you' to my friend :) Will pass along future promo/discount codes as I come across them.

The Tanya Harding dress arrived. It is way less TH and far more Stevie Nicks. Which I mega approve of. It's also completely see through in the lace panels, I guess I thought there'd be some kinda SLIP underneath.

COO
BABY
― set the controls for the heart of the sun (VegemiteGrrl), Thursday, 8 November 2012 17:07 (eleven years ago) link
The whole bodice is see-through?? It looked like it had opaque panels in the ad, or was the model wearing some kind of top underneath?
Well that just means you need a bustier to put under it.
― purveyor of generations (in orbit), Thursday, 8 November 2012 17:30 (eleven years ago) link
i have never worn or owned a bustier, perhaps i should remedy that someday
― flag this post and die (roxymuzak), Thursday, 8 November 2012 17:43 (eleven years ago) link
yah me neither
― set the controls for the heart of the sun (VegemiteGrrl), Thursday, 8 November 2012 17:43 (eleven years ago) link
I feel like I'd end up with a chinful of boob, lol
― set the controls for the heart of the sun (VegemiteGrrl), Thursday, 8 November 2012 17:44 (eleven years ago) link
bustier gals have a tendency for looking goth or costumed in a bustier or corset, i feel, because the shape of the bod makes the garment more...pronounced? this is unfair
― flag this post and die (roxymuzak), Thursday, 8 November 2012 17:45 (eleven years ago) link
bustier gals go round the outside, round the outside, round the outside
― set the controls for the heart of the sun (VegemiteGrrl), Thursday, 8 November 2012 17:48 (eleven years ago) link
sorry
I've always wanted a bustier but don't have the goods to fill it out! I've got a merry widow but I can't wear that in public.
― these albatrosses have no fear of man (La Lechera), Thursday, 8 November 2012 18:05 (eleven years ago) link
Or a long-line bra--the important thing is just some torso coverage. Not nec looking to boost the girls up to anyone's chin.
― purveyor of generations (in orbit), Thursday, 8 November 2012 18:08 (eleven years ago) link
i had one when i was in college, but never wore it because i worried i didn't have enough to hold it up/fill it out. Now that I do, it is way too small.
― sarahell, Thursday, 8 November 2012 18:36 (eleven years ago) link
i have a bustier but it has cheap plastic boning that has bent out of shape
― homosexual II, Friday, 9 November 2012 00:04 (eleven years ago) link
WELL DANG. I tried on that dress and its not as skanky as I'd hoped.
― homosexual II, Friday, 9 November 2012 22:15 (eleven years ago) link
the lace panels on the front are not very see-thru, whereas the back is really see-thru. I'd rather the front be more visible since my boobs are infinitely better than my back fat.
