Last weekend I had to explain to my mother in law what a brony is, because my nephews now have a brony stepbrother that they are constantly fighting with. She was so bewildered and wanted me to explain why a teenage boy would love ponies. There is no good explanation.

To be fair to the stepbrother those kids are such rotten little brats that I could see how they could drive someone to madness/bronydom.

I have nowhere else to put this, so....

I was very put out by the season finale of MLP, it seemed to pander to the message that being a princess should be a girl's life goal. The rest of the series isn't like that, so that's why I didn't mind my kid watching it. Is Disney already having an influence on this show?

And made it through about 8 minutes of the unboxing video. The poor kid speaks so much more clearly and confidently when he's talking for the pony toys :(
