I saw a thread where people who ordered directly from Elektrohasch received their CDs last week. Unfortunately it takes them forever to get to the U.S. stores for some reason.
Anyone in or near London seeing their show at The Garage on Friday?

Kind of dragged kicking and screaming to this tonight by a friend but kinda surprised how good they were. Would of liked some hallucinogenics for total immersion (although at one point I definitely smelt weed and bacon sandwiches) but I loved their sense of dynamics and thei musicianship was amazing. Will have to investigate further for sure...

fyi, All That is Heavy now has She Said in stock, on 2CD anyway. Just placed my order! Glad I've held out on hearing it through other means.

Finally got my copy of She Said! Have been too busy for a proper listen yet, but really excited to tear into this.

Something I missed while offline on vacation last week, an epic interview with Stefan Koglek of Colour Haze about the monumental trials and tribulations on completing their latest - http://theobelisk.net/obelisk/2012/10/05/colour-haze-she-said-interview-with-stefan-koglek/

Any reactions to it? It's likely my #1 for the year. It doesn't play well with others when my playlist is on random, but listened straight through it's magnificent.

It didn't hook me at all. I guess I should try again.

To be perfectly honest, I think it's their first record in awhile that doesn't improve on the previous one. It's still really good, but it feels more like a holding pattern, which is unusual for these guys. I do need to spend more time with it, maybe it'll grow on me more, but I found myself ready to move on a lot quicker than I did with the last 3 or 4.

listening to all at the moment ("silent") and feeling cool in the heat

I still like She Said a ton but I did think he would develop more of the psych pop direction that I hear in some of All but instead it's more sprawling.

Listening to the new one We Are right now and it is hitting all the right spots, another killer record from these dudes. So happy that they are finally getting U.S. distro via Ripple.

This thread skipped right over In Her Garden. What a fantastic album, very satisfying. I'm quite excited about that being up next from Ripple and getting a lot of new fans.

Another new one, Sacred, out now.. digitally anyway.

Guessing their deal with Ripple Music fell apart, since that reissue campaign dried up after one release and no news from that label about US distribution for this. Anyone ever ordered directly from Elektrohasch? Reasonable?
