have you heard that 'tubular bells' cover off the supreme edits thing?

this is not-annoying, but not much more.

the word komische in german is used to denote 'comical' or 'comedic'.

Like "Zoetrope": Ashra's Blackouts?
--noodle vague

BTW fezaffe i had a turnaround on the holden mix!! i love about ... half of it, and the other half is really great!!

i feel like maybe they could have linked the 2nd half of disc 1 w/ the 1st half of disc 2 and made a super-killer one disc mix.

i've never heard e2-e4, but blackouts is pretty great

boc beats are too wooden and heavy

nah, this is nowhere near as good as E2-E4. still great, of course.

http://theunknownfiles.blogspot.com/ half good new age, half bad new age. but some really good cosmic shit from the early 80s and back.

Richard Dawson's work under this pseudonym is not far from the classic '70s Komische drone groups, there are certainly elements of Tangerine Dream in the glittering pulses of Seal-Skin Satellite.

In 1971, the bands Tangerine Dream and Faust used electronic synthesizers and advanced production techniques to make what they called komische musik.

does everybody here know what "zoetrope" sounds like? because i'm hearing a bunch of suggestions that don't.

can't find mp3s of anything by velvet universe, let alone that track. what a world.

There is an awesome atom heart track called "smoothness above all else" on the machine paisley album

this is brilliant for anyone wanting more of that 70s tangerine dream, analogue synth excess.

3rd track in this set is 13 minutes of perfection

https://soundcloud.com/higamoshogamos/sets/spacerocks-more-modulations

i have been given permission to post individual mp3s on my blog, but thought i'd pass on details here so see if this hits the spot for anyone else

note : spacerocks = steve from fort lauderdale/the black neon, bands which saw steve revive his love of glam amongst his love of old analogue sounds, whereas he has dropped the vocals totally for this new stuff.

oh and i know this may not be the exactly the right thread but steve used this phrase in his communication :

perhaps sate your desire for Kosmische escape some damp Febuaray afternoon.

..
