i always picture flopson wearing flip flops, sweatpants and t-shirt, just swinging on the flippity-flop w/ a andre3000 expression

lol that's pretty inaccurate (don't think i've ever worn that combo in my life) but i'm flattered that i read as swingin' it on the flippity flop, ir i often sigh deeply after hitting "submit post"

my racist friends used to call that outfit compton pajamas

but it's a real specific way to wear it with the fake prison-issue sweatpants, elastic ankle band pulled up to your knees almost and the socks pulled way up too, just an inch of leg showing. maybe some of those velvet slippers instead of flip-flops

i know hes not new but this guy has been on a roll

I don't know if it's that my taste is just on a higher level than most, or if the band is just well tuned to my individual sound-interests. Personally I think time will show, and in 20 or 30 years it will be a lot easier to tell that these guys were doing something completely unique. Kind of like how Radiohead fans find out about CAN and realize the truth. About as contemporary as it can get, on some of their prior releases and at times on Parastrophics. Completely different strata.
