i have said this before on this board, my favorite Cure song i feel is the peak from this band. it has everything i love about the Cure: a great story, great music and really long. they have never reached that high again and sadly the never will again.

really did not expect to vote for so much from Wish!

didn't vote in this, not sure what i would've had #1 ("disintegration"? "inbetween days"? "primary"? "high"? "the walk"?), strangely happy to see "a forest" win though. the nouvelle vague cover of it is one of the few times where i think the nouvelle vague concept is worth it.

Didn't vote in this because I wouldn't have voted for anything post-Disintegration (because I'm not familiar with it, not because I don't like it.) Looks like I would have been in the mainstream of this poll so I guess I should have voted!

I was really surprised to see "10:15 Saturday Night" and "All Cats Are Grey" finish so high (but surprised in a good way).

"Just Like Heaven" and "A Forest" finished way ahead and were the clear "consensus" favourites even though they got just zero and one first place vote respectively. I'm not sure this happened in any of the other polls, where the first place votes were so spread out and weren't concentrated at the top of the list. Two-thirds of the first place votes went to songs that finished outside the top ten!!

I didn't vote for A Forest either and I also didn't vote for anything after Disintegration. I never let not knowing the complete catalogue put me off voting in these polls.

So long as I know 20 (or 40) songs well enough to put them in some kind of order I usually vote.

"Wailing Wall" is at #97 and #150, so added up it should be at #85.
