Kind of hate the fact this is appearing everywhere on my feed at the moment. Not that Chris Brown isn't a despicable little thug who should be ignored, of course. Lots of people losing their shit over the word "clusterfuck" for some reason (used incorrectly in this case). Lots of people applauding the article for its honesty, even though there are reams of articles going back that have done the same. Lots of people banging on about how shit r'n'b-pop is (viz: "Even if you like this kind of music, it's still shit" stance the review takes). Article's been tweeted by the NME and now the writer's courting them to let her write for them cos of a completely biased un-objective review that does nothing but say "Chris Brown is a dick, R'n'B sucks". She'll probably be editor by next year.

y'know, anyone could've pulled that 'review' to pieces, but dom did a typically thorough job and went the extra distance by twisting the knife with the pretty hilarious racism angle. you may not like the man but you have to respect the craft.

definitions of "hilarious" appear to vary quite a bit from person to person
