who is your favorite character in the movie Sucker Punch?

the droid fight on the train was superdope

I thought I would really like this movie but when I finally saw it, the battle scenes were uninteresting to me, just manufactured CGI crap that went on for 3x too long. So sad.

yeah if you aren't into the battle scenes there is zero reason to watch this movie unless you really, really like rolling your eyes

I like the martial arts/real people parts but not the ceaseless gunfire for no good reason and explosions of things that wouldn't have blown up irl etc.

Also the whole movie was really video gamey? It felt like Kings Quest II or something: "These are the articles you must find to escape the wizard's castle. Your journey will be completely linear."

in a shock even to me, i actually hated this more than i hated "300" which is saying something

I have to date successfully kept myself from seeing "Sky Captain" even though that type of plasticy-looking stupidity appeals directly to my id and that statement has just reminded me that I should change that

it might have helped if the trailers had mentioned the fact that it's a movie about lobotomies and rape

speaking literally, the theatrical cut isn't terribly rapey. implicitly, sure, in that female characters are trapped and abused and forced to dance in an (imaginary) burlesque club. well, and there's an attempted rape near the end.
