I don't remember them ever saying "Have a blessed day!" when they were on campus but I only went there maybe 3 times

also if they were to say that on campus, it's likely they would burst into flames

I'm not sure if comparing them to fried chicken places is valid because Chik-fil-a is almost all chicken patties/nuggets/strips. It's mostly finger food.

Yeah, this is kind of odd. I thought their conservative/fundie/homophobe bona fides were universally known. I've been avoiding giving them my money for at least a decade, since I heard about them donating to Eagle Forum and the AFA and such.

this has literally never happened to me at a chick-fil-a. i also worked at a chick-fil-a for a few weeks right before graduating high school. i imagine it might be different for store managers or franchise owners, but there was zero religious pressure put on me or any employees that i could see. in any case, fuck 'em.

I stopped eating Popeye's because of the "Annie the Chicken Queen" commercials, and now this. I need to eat less fried food though so I guess overall it's a plus.

I gotta say that unless the restaurant is actually discriminating against GLBT folks as customers, or in hiring -- and from what I've seen there's no evidence that it is -- what these city officials are doing is kinda NAGL.
