10000000 is awesome in the dungeon raid/slot hero/war games action puzzler mode. can't figure out where the timer is, and keep dying, but way addictive.

Duke nukem 3d and Rise Of The Triad are both awesome on iPad. I got used to the control schemes pretty quick. Wish you could get more levels.

in what must be a frustrating anecdote for apple/whoever makes 1000000000000000 to hear, i am repeatedly pressing the button to buy it, and nothing happens. even after restarting the phone. is it not compatible with 3GS or something?

Tower of Fortune is another game-rpg that's got me hooked. Slots mechanic -- sort of like King Cashing but more polished, with permadeath and much more grind, and very basic minimal strategy. addictive though.

Hunters 2 is awesome. Turn by turn strategy.

War Games WOPR is a cool Dungeon Raid ripoff with art from the movie.

nah, this genre specifically creates work that's fun, cute, or amusing with some kind of artificial reward structure; in contrast to actual work, which is soulsucking, joyless, and your only reward is being one step closer to death
