First of all, how are things? How did the job search go? Did you find a job? How is it going?

Secondly, I know this is a little out of the blue and don't worry if you don't know, but I can't find something in the lab and I was hoping you could help. I am purifying a protein (for another project, not ATPase) and I can't find the kit with the nickel (Ni-NTA) columns. It is the exact same thing we used to purify the ATPase protein. Cecilia said there was a kit, but I have looked all over the lab and I can't find it. It may have moved, but I don't even know what I am looking for so any information would be great!

Also, I noticed that when you purified the ATPase, you used Protease Cocktail Set III, CHAPS, and Glycerol in your buffers but the OIAexpressionist handbook doesn't say to use those. Is there a reason you added those to your buffer?

I have volunteered to take the Sprint ISP (our group calls it VISP—they are letting people volunteer for the involuntary). I decided to take the severance and get out while I can. I will probably be gone by the end of March. I will take a few months off then maybe look for something in education. I am pretty excited about doing something different—not sure now what that will be—only time will tell.

On the whole the mood on campus is kind of depressing, but the people I hang out with are handling things pretty well. What will be, will be.

and still at the University of Ghana. Our daughter Na4 Dede1 turned 10
years in March.

I lost my mother in 2007 which was quite a blow, but the other members of
my family are doing quite well as they move on life.

Fish Centre? Things seem to have changed so much in the world since my

A new explanation for Nature and the Universe
What is Nature and how does it work? The Keon Hypothesis is an attempt to explain Nature in its entirety with a simple common principle. The hypothesis describes a purely mechanical system. The basic principles are very simple and easy to understand.
The Keon Hypothesis can show, among other things, the following:

How the basic principle of Nature that exerts force and transmits information might work. The explanation turns out to lie in a new insight into the nature of vacuum.
What curved space actually is, how it relates to energy and how it can exert force. Force fields get a concrete physical explanation. The hypothesis shows what matter and elementary particles actually are, and what happens when they are created and destroyed. This gives us an understanding of the mechanism behind the formula E = mc2.
What color charge is and how it causes the forces that hold the atomic nucleus together.
What inertia is and why we need to view inertial and gravitational mass as separate properties, if we want to understand how inertia works. I am trying to start a USTA team for the kids and need to get an idea of who is interested. This is a lot of fun and a great way to play "real" tennis. side. I am very excited about this and know that they will enjoy the format while as well as improve their tennis skills.There are boys and girls singles, doubles, and one mixed doubles team. Being coed, I believe that we should be able to get together one or two teams. We have great parents in this group, which will immensely add to the their pleasure. I am hoping that you can help in spreading the word and for someone to be the team parent. This is really easy and not so complicated like the adult teams. It is basically organizing the snacks and seeing who is available to play. I can help with anything you need.Coaches are not allowed to be the captain. Are the girls in 10 and under or 12 and under?

I am starting up tennis lessons again after a break and getting Dara off to college. Is anyone ready to start taking lessons? I would also like to do a Friday night Pizza and tennis clinic and games once a month or so. The only charge would be for the pizza. What do you think?
