Hi vinyl people. I need some advice.
What are the chances that someone would come to my pad, take approx. 2000 records (mostly canon fodder [complete vinyl-era Springsteen, say] and 12" dance singles, all in alphabetical and discographical order), and give me some sort of $ for it all (I'll even throw in my Spin magazines)? Should I call a record store or Craigslist it? Should I keep the 12" dance singles separate? Do I need to make a list of everything?
JacobSanders, I texted you because you're near me (I think) and might have some tips. But I'm not sure the number I have still works (or can receive texts).

Sorry Kevin my phone is sitting uncharged in my jeep. But you aren't still in Austin are you? I'll be in Austin Tomorrow or friday and I'll come look at your records, but my wife might get a little upset if I take 2000 records off your hands. Every time I'm with my wife and I see a load of records and start talking about how much I could get for them she reminds me I'm not a record dealer. I dunno. Springsteen can sometimes be $$, I think. The guys at Friends of Sound in Austin are nice guys too who you might want to give a call. I think backspin and Friends of Sound are teamed up now, same store now.
