the CBS miami reports are weird in that regard. "bath salts" (MDPV) are apparently being blamed. bath salts /= LSD, though the article and its sources treat the terms as interchangeable.

Having watched videos of people tweaked out of their minds on bath salts, I'm not the slightest bit surprised to discover that they played a role in this batshittery. I wish I were equally unsurprised about the shitty and inaccurate reportage.
